The Flying Inkpot Theatre and Dance

Welcome

The Flying Inkpot was launched in 1996 to create an online platform for writing about the arts in Singapore.

Despite being staffed by volunteers, the theatre wing has established itself as the longest-running theatre and dance review magazine in Singapore, with over 700 reviews in our archive.

We also provide comprehensive listings of productions, auditions and workshops.

Open Roads: Reading Singapore Theatre

Do you want to unearth the rich heritage of Singapore theatre with a group of like-minded enthusiasts?

The Flying Inkpot Theatre and Dance is partnering the Substation to bring you a fortnightly series of "book club" sessions from July to November 2010 where, instead of novels, the group will come together to discuss scripts by local playwrights. This will be a safe, friendly space for anyone to come and share their views about a particular work, whether they are a regular theatre-goer or new to the theatre scene.

For more information, check out the Open Roads website here: http://www.readingsingaporetheatre.blogspot.com

First Impressions

The following First Impressions provide immediate reactions to the shows we see. These First Impressions are eventually either archived here or appended to the full review of the show if one is subsequently written.
